Chris Jackson Memorial Scholarship Fund

We will be using this money to fund $5000 every six months to a deserving Computer Science student to help them in their pursuit of their degree.

Chris Jackson was an amazing human being who was smart, insightful and had a razor-sharp wit.

The greatest gift Chris had was that he always made the time to not just talk to you, but to be in that moment with you. He made you feel important because you had his full and undivided attention when you spoke to him and he would always first to ask how he could help. 

Chris was an amazing father to Abby and Lily, a doting husband to Karen, and a great friend to all of us.   

What most don't know is how much Chris had to struggle in his early years to afford his degree.

It is in this spirit that his wife Karen has asked that in lieu of flowers, we start a scholarship in his name to make getting a college degree for someone else, a bit easier. This is our first step towards that goal and continuing in the spirit of helping others that Chris embodied every day in his words and actions.
