The PDC: Affordable and Expert Led Workshops

Hi, I’m Edith Moricz-Cody, President of the Professional Development Collaborative, Inc. (pdcboston.org), a non-profit organization that has for 10 + years provided industry-expert led, low cost training to professionals in job transition. PDC’s diverse training coursework has enabled hundreds of professionals to land jobs and advance in their career path.

The generosity of our instructors’ time and expertise, in addition to PDC’s partnerships with the Massachusetts One-Stop career centers and the federal Senior Community Service Employment Program, enabled the PDC to grow the job-winning skills of professionals throughout Massachusetts and tangibly impact the career paths of thousands of professionals throughout Massachusetts.

With the COVID pandemic, The PDC’s on-site workshops (our main source of revenue) ceased and we immediately shifted our trainings to Zoom. 

Now, more than ever, support and funding are needed to ensure that training and coursework can continue to provide the necessary skills for landing jobs and advancing in career paths, especially with the added uncertainty of a changing, remote-work environment. With this in mind, the PDC is focused on serving professionals in job transition, as well as adult learners and small business owners/entrepreneurs.
