Our Needs

The Friends of Coppell Nature Park coordinates speakers to educate the community about various topics that relate to natural sciences on a monthly basis. We need additional funds to provide the community with these programs.

The Friends of Coppell Nature Park also needs more tools and equipment to maintain the park trails and to help extract the invasive plants in the Coppell Nature Park without using strong chemicals.

Mission

FCNP Mission Statement: "to foster partnerships between outdoor enthusiasts and Coppell Nature Park that ensure a better place for nature education while setting high conservation standards and raising a strong sense of community service for future generations." The mission of the Bio-Diversity Education Center at Coppell Nature Park is to be a unique, adaptable, sustainable facility that will inspire passion for our local and global environment, and promote community involvement.

Equity Statement

The Friends of Coppell Nature Park and Biodiversity Education Center provide programs, resources, outreach, and volunteer opportunities for the entire Coppell community as well as the Coppell Independent School district. We actively seek to be inclusive of all groups.
