Reading Heroes

The Reading Heroes Program assists children from Pre-K thru 12th Grade. Our goal is to help youth with reading and comprehension so they are successful with passing the Mandatory Michigan Third Grade Law. After, the student passes the third grade, Single Family Living continues to follow their progression of learning up to fifth grade.

The Reading Heroes program assists Pre-K thru 12th Graders with Reading Comprehension, Coaching, Webinars, and Special Games. These activities help engage the student's attention span and allow them to focus on a positive learning environment.  In addition, we provide books to the children within the schools to encourage them to read. Helping a youth recognize excellence in learning provides confidence and a positive outlook for their future. Our organization's philosophy of education is to focus on building a strong, positive, and proactive foundation in behavior. By infusing positive reinforcements in youths, they will feel safe to express new ideas, and free to share information about experiences, and values will result in a cohesive goal, which is the success of excellence in learning. Building positive leaders with these attributes create these key factors of promoting teamwork, increasing communication, reducing conflict, and increasing open dialogue among the team.
