Faith Walker Foundation operates to assist persons affected by significant illnesses or conditions that affect their ability to maintain their positions within the workplace, including those with special needs. Funds received go directly to those affected to provide immediate financial assistance  to reduce the stress created due to job loss or complications from medical treatment.

The founder, Jocelyn Gordon Walker, is a thyroid cancer survivor and has witness how cancer and other illnesses directly impact the lives of both the patient and the families of the patient. She started the foundation after working, closely, with a young lady who had recently lost her mother and grandmother to cancers. Due to their deaths, she was left as the matriarch of the family and struggled to financially support herself, 5 year old son and younger siblings. She stressed over being able to pay bills even until her death. Jocelyn vowed to do her part to help others in this position. "You should never have to worry about money while fighting for your life," can be quoted when talking about the "why" of the foundation.

With your help , she prays that her dream will become a reality so that the only focus for patients will be their health and not their purse.

The "Because You Loved Me" cervical cancer scholarship will be awarded to one (female) patient diagnosed with cervical cancer. The awarded amount ($1019) is in honor of our first client, Whitley Littlejohn's birthday (10/19). She sadly lost her fight against cervical cancer March 7, 2018.
