$10,000 Goal

Code Pink Productions Inc. is an institution focused on assisting at-risk girls, homeless and battered women, low income families, and medical research. Our goal is to provide these services through fundraising, event promotion, mentorships, and service volunteering. Through our Gloria D Muhammad (Our Founders Mother) Excellence Through Education Scholarship, we have provided $1000.00 scholarship since the 2019-2020 school year to a local UNT student. Our Code Pink Girls Program provides sports, arts and small business programs to help inspire our youth to stay positively influenced and due to COVID-19 stay at home orders we have also added a virtual tutoring program that allows our volunteers and staff to tutor students in grades 3-12.

We have programs such as our "Let's get Working" program that helps low income or no income individuals with resume' writing & interviewing skills to help secure a better job or a job if they are unemployed. Due to the effects of the Pandemic, we have started our "Lend a Helping Hand" Program which is designed to provide the homeless in the DFW and Chicagoland area with necessity bags for maintaining safety and sanitation during the pandemic and moving forward.

Our Code Pink Warrior Program which provides support, education and information to those who are battling with health issues, have survived health crises with positive support and information to help keep them mentally and physically healthy. This program is spear headed by our Annual Celebration of Life event that honors the member of this program, educates those in attendance, provides entertainment and is a opportunity for small business owners to vend. This event is also when we award our scholarship recipient with there scholarship for the upcoming school year. The Celebration of Life is held every year at the end of July.

Our Needs

We are in need of funds to help us provide many of our programs and services as we do them for Free to those that we are serving. We are also in need of supplies for our homeless program necessity bags. We are always in need of Volunteers to help work our programs, tutor our students, help fundraise and get the word out about all the great things we are doing in our communities. Lastly we are in need of 10-20 laptop computers to provide those that are participating in our Lets' get working program the equipment needed to virtually participate and we would love to gift those participants with the laptop when they graduate the program during the Re-Dress for success graduation ceremony where they are also gifted gently used work and interview attire that was donated to the organization for the program.
